3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
1471 N. Benton Ave, Springfield, MO 65802
Bring your child aged 7-12 to SCG's Grow to Ride 4-H Club! In this meeting, youth will explore the components of germination and soil temperatures as well as drought and flooding on a variety of agricultural crops. How will we plan for our changing climate and meet our food needs? Join us with special guest Justine Lines, Environmental Educator, as we predict the future of our dinner plates in our changing climate.
Meetings take place at the Midtown Community Garden (1471 N. Benton Ave) with drop off time between 3:30 - 4 and the meeting lasting until 5 PM unless otherwise noted. We will always be sure to have light snacks and drinks available. Parents are welcome to stay for the meeting or be back at pick-up time.
If you haven't already, you may enroll your child in SCG's Grow to Ride 4-H Club here.
Please contact Anna Withers at anna.withers@springfieldcommunitygardens.org if you need assistance enrolling or if your family requires assistance paying the $25 annual enrollment fee!
