4-H Club Landfill Tour

The Springfield Community Gardens (SCG) Grow to Ride 4-H Club brings together youth from areas of low socioeconomic status to develop personal responsibility through horsemanship, learn the importance of food sustainability, and provide service to their communities.
Join us on Wednesday, May 31st from 1-3 PM as we take a tour of Springfield's landfill to learn about food waste and diversion tactics. This field trip is made available to enrolled members of SCG's Grow to Ride 4-H Club only.
If your child(ren) are not already enrolled at the time of this application, you may still fill out the form and enroll prior to the event.
