Upcoming Events & Workshops:

March 4th from 6-7:30 PM - Zoom Workshop Soil Amendments and Produce Food Safety with Patrick Byers. Soil amendments of many types are valuable management tools for specialty crop production. Manure, compost and other soil amendments of biological origin in particular supply nutrients, organic matter, and beneficial organisms that support healthy soils. We must recognize, however, that biological soil amendments can also contain pathogens that make people sick. Join Patrick Byers, produce food safety specialist, for a discussion on the safe use of soil amendments. Workshop will be on Zoom, link is on our Facebook Events page!

April 26th, 2025 - Midtown Library Collaboration Quick and Easy Snacks from the Garden Young chefs and adult caregivers will explore healthy snacks.
